NEURON (2018) is a solo choreographed and performed by Nash Artistic Director, Rosie DeAngelo. The piece emphasizes the validity of the voices inside our heads, and our ability to mentally craft intricate stories that then manifest outside of ourselves.

The movement vocabulary represents the vast capability that our minds have to construct an idea, and subsequently trick ourselves into following that fantasy until we no longer recognize the source.

Sometimes this imaginary entity exists under our skin, and sometimes an object reveals itself in the space around us and we are able to change its properties and redirect it.
